Hello my fellow fantasy fiction loving comrades. Welcome to the land of Vaillen. My name is Ash. In this vast land, I have been named the Recorder of Time. The scribe of the Elders, you may say.

As you pick up this compendium, note that some tales have a prompted guide to begin the story, provided by an Elder Scribe. Other stories are those I have found in my research of Vaillen. 

Open the door and step through the portal. Enjoy the stories of the beasts of old. Get lost in the mages from time's past and the legends of Vaillen's great warriors. Soak up the lessons that the Elders have left behind.
